Logan Scott, representing Las Vegas Speed and Faith Lutheran High in Nevada, won the boys 15-16 1,500-meter title in 4:04.83 at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Scott, entering his sophomore year, also won the 3,000-meter crown in 8:52.06 and contributed to a victory in the 4x800-meter relay in 8:10.95. He also earned eighth place in the 800-meter final in 2:06.66.
